Hey there, i've been following your piggie cam for around half a year now, checking back every once in a while.
I've noticed that your new piggie Lottie and Meeko are still seperated, are they not getting along? It's already been quite a while since you brought Lottie home to keep Meeko company, has it been a few months already?
Just curious to know =)

Thanks for watching!

I need to update the webpage about the piggies.

Lottie has been with us for 5 months now. They are both healthy and happy living side by side in a big 2 x 6 cage because they can see and smell each other. However, I have tried 3 times to introduce them and they always end up fighting with Meeko ending up with bites around her nose and chin (poor thing). I tried all the tricks (buddy bath, neutral territory), but nothing works. They bond in the sink when I bathe them because of their fear, but as soon as I put them together, the problems start. I would rather have them share all that space (16 sq. feet), but what can I do? I will try again later this year when they both turn 2 years old and may be more mellow.

Yeah i've got a similar situation, I've got this one piggy Curly who "gradually" did not get along with my other 2 pigs, the cage was seperated with just a grid but then both sides would start biting the grid etc. So we gave him his own cage. He got lonely so we'd put them out on floor time together, bc he was lonely the first few minutes would be ok. BUT then he'd start getting rough with the other 2 again!

And because he seemed so lonely we ended up having to get another piggy to keep him company. So now we've got twice as many pigs as i initially planned. But the good thing is he seems to be getting along ok with his buddy =)
Though don't we wish they could all live together, to have so much more space to play around in, and have more interaction with their fellow piggys!
